If you are shooting paid gigs then I always recommend buying well made and reliable equipment that won’t fall apart and delivers consistent results.
I will invest in good quality lenses, light stands, and lights.
I also love to Macgyver stuff and it’s a great way to experiment with different gadgets without having to sell your left kidney.
